Welcome to the Katherine Gaylord Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. The chapter has forty members.
You may already be a Daughter, or you may like to become one. What better way to honor our heritage and freedoms than to belong to a group dedicated to preserving what makes our country great? We hope you join us as we celebrate the past, participate in the present, and work diligently to pass along this great tradition to future generations.
Our namesake, Katherine Gaylord (1745-1840), was a true heroine of her day. She brought her young children back from Pennsylvania on foot, braving Indians, cold, starvation, and despair after her husband was killed in battle. For more on the history of the chapter, please click here.
Let us strive to show the same courage and strength in our lives.
The 2010-2013 Daughters of the American Revolution theme is "Preserve the Past, Enhance the Present, Invest in the Future."
